How to find the perfect combination of prints for your space.
With a wide spectrum of tones, from subtle muted grey and taupe to full on, in your face vivid red and blue, these prints not only stand-alone as a single feature pieces in your room, but they work equally well together in pairs or groups to create an unique atmosphere across your space, whether that’s at home or in the office.
STEP ONE – Assess your space
STEP TWO – Create the pairs
Think about whether you’d like to pair 2 large prints or multiple smaller prints in your space. If your room is already quite full with a darker colour scheme, you could choose two light, bright images hanging next to each other, such as the vivid LV Burst alongside one or both of the Tuscany & Provence landscapes… or if you have pale grey walls you could still have the LV Burst but pair it with the Pride print for a more New York Loft feel.
That one LV Burst print, paired differently creates very different looks.
If you have a room with plain white walls that could be the perfect opportunity to create some impact with a distinct visual element to help bring a modern ambience into the space. You could go huge with one print such as Taupe flowers or Roar, or start a collection with Summer Flowers. Alternatively Thistle and Artichoke make a striking pair on a white wall.
If your heart is set on two large prints to really make a statement… do you go with light or dark images, or a combination? It’s fun thinking about it isn’t it.
This is where it gets personal, where it really is ‘all about you’ so whatever you decide, start by choosing the theme and style of the prints you like. Pairing an abstract image, rich in detail and texture, with a minimal composition could lead to the perfect feel of light and shade. Two abstract prints may fight for attention in the same space so creating the contrast with a minimal print will not only create better cohesion, it enhances the visual impact of both pieces because neither will take away from the other.

Depending on where you place your art piece will change how it looks and having different crops of the same print will also change up the look.
These examples show that whatever your room looks like, the same print can look just as good whether it’s on a light or dark wall or is in a square or landscape format. Different frames also change the overall look.
